Girl Scouts from Shelton Troop No. 60290 sell cookies at a booth outside Walgreens on Bridgeport Avenue in Shelton on Saturday.

Despite somewhat chilly weather, the girls and some of their mothers — working in shifts with other troop members — sold cookies to the public for three hours in the morning.

Purchasing some cookies from the Girl Scouts is Linda Austin of Shelton.

“It was really busy in the beginning,” co-troop leader Elisa Uhrynowski said of the 9 a.m. start time. The troop’s other adult co-leader is Melissa Davidson.

Girl Scouts will continue cookie booth sales through March 31. Available cookie flavors this year are Do-si-dos, Dulce De Leche, Samoas, Savannah Smiles, Tagalongs, Thank U Berry Munch and Thin Mints. Learn more at
