Upcoming presentation to answer questions about what to have in your dog’s first aid kit.

Pet parents looking to create an emergency first aid kit for their dogs are invited to a presentation Tuesday, Aug. 5, at 7 p.m.

Trap Falls Kennel Club will host Dr. Jack Garman, founder of High Ridge Animal Hospital in Stamford at Apple Rehab Shelton Lakes, 5 Lake Road, Shelton.

About the kennel club

Since 1968, Trap Falls Kennel Club has been an active non-profit all-breed member club of the American Kennel Club.

TFKC is devoted to the betterment of the purebred dog and is an advocate for the purebred and mixed breed dog as a family companion. Additionally, TFKC strives to promote responsible dog ownership in the community through public education programs and events.

Trap Falls has a tradition of community service and public education — offering training classes in obedience, Canine Good Citizen training and testing and Therapy Dogs International testing.

They often host free prorams on canine safety.
