Triathlete/cancer survivor headlines Center for HOPE Luncheon

The Center for HOPE will welcome world-class triathlete, cancer survivor and author Karen Newman to the podium as the speaker for its 2016 annual Luncheon on Tuesday, May 3.

Six teens from New Haven's Hopkins School, called the "Hopkins Hilltoppers," came in first place in 2015, crushing all previous records.

Yankee legend to headline St. V’s SWIM Across the Sound sports gala

St. Vincent’s SWIM Across the Sound will host its annual Sports Gala and Auction benefitting Connecticut police, fire, and correction officers, EMS personnel, public safety dispatchers, and their families battling cancer.

Talking Heads/Tom Tom Club Chris Frantz and Tina Weymouth will play a Special Encore Performance with a group of select musicians from Connecticut during JACKS Benefit Concert on Saturday, February 6.

Kennedy Center fund-raiser features former Talking Heads musicians

JACKS benefit concert for The Kennedy Center Children’s Services will be held Saturday, Feb. 6, with a pre-party at 7 p.m., in the Art/Place Gallery at Fairfield Theatre Company, 70 Sanford Street, Fairfield. Concert starts at 8:30.
