The past year there have been many natural disasters throughout the United States which not only had a devastating impact on the human population, but also on the animals in those areas. The need to be prepared for these types of incidents whether you are veterinary hospital or an animal owner is clear, because even here in Connecticut we are not immune to the possibility that a similar disaster could occur. Join us for a special free educational program called “Animals In Disaster” taking place on Thursday, January 11, from 6pm-9pm at the Courtyard Marriott, 780 Bridgeport Avenue, Shelton.
The program will include multimedia presentations from Bliss Kern, Dr. Shelton Yessenow, and Jon Nowinski, who will each be sharing their experiences during deployments and involvement with disasters that have impacted animals. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required. For information contact email@example.com or (203) 941 – EARS
This program is made possible through the sponsorship of VCA Shoreline Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center located in Shelton, CT. We thank them for making it possible to offer this event free of charge to all who are interested.
