Easter egg hunt at Boys & Girls Club in Shelton benefits Pagliaro Fund

The ninth annual Easter egg hunt and pancake breakfast to benefit the Joseph A. Pagliaro Sr. Family Fund will take place Saturday, March 23 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at the Lower Naugatuck Valley Boys and Girls Club in Shelton.

Tickets cost $6, with children under age 2 free, and can be purchased by email at [email protected] Email messages should include the number of adult and youth tickets wanted and the ages of the children.

Everyone age 2 and older must have a ticket, and every child must be accompanied by an adult. No tickets will be sold at the door. Organizers said the springtime event sells out every year.

Participants should bring their own basket to collect eggs.

 

About the Pagliaro Sr. Family Fund

The Joseph A. Pagliaro Sr. Family Fund is part of the Valley Community Foundation. The fund was established in memory of the founding board chairman of the Valley Community Foundation. It supports various civic projects and organizations.

Joseph A. Pagliaro Sr. ran the Riverview Funeral Home in Shelton before his death in 2004. He was known for his many volunteer activities in Shelton and throughout the Valley. He was a longtime member of the Shelton Planning and Zoning Commission and also served as a board member, chairman and president of the local Boys and Girls Club.
