On Jan. 22 at 11:49 a.m. the Echo Hose Co. #1 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded to an odor in the building at #469 Howe Avenue. Firefighters determined the odor was from construction in a occupancy in the same building. a rescue truck responded.

 

On Jan. 22 at 1:53 p.m. the Echo Hose Co. #1 responded to a public service call at #14 Country Place.

 

On Jan. 22 at 4:05 p.m. the Echo Hose Co. #1 responded to the Wells Fargo Bank #320 Coram Avenue after a truck struck the overhang at the drive thru. Damage was confined to a small portion of the overhang. There were no hazards as a result. A rescue truck responded.

 

On Jan. 22 at 6:24 p.m. the Echo Hose Co. #1 responded to a fire alarm sounding at the Hewitt Memorial Hospital at #45 Maltby Street. There was no fire. An engine responded.

 

On Jan. 23 at 6:25 a.m. the Echo Hose Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Co. #4 responded to #17 Grove Street for smoke in the house. A furnace backfire caused the smoke. A ladder truck responded.

 

On Jan. 23 at 10:10 a.m. the Echo Hose Co. #1 and the Huntington Co. #3 responded to a motor vehicle accident on route 8 southbound near exit 12. An engine and a rescue truck responded.

 

On Jan. 23 at 2:42 p.m. the White Hills Co. #5 and the Huntington Co. #3 responded to smoke in a house at #26 Hiawatha Trail. There was no fire. Smoke from cooking was the cause. Two engines responded.

 

On Jan. 23 at 3:33 p.m. the Huntington Co. #3 responded to a public service call, water main break, at #406 Canoe Break. A rescue truck responded.

 

On Jan. 23 at 9:22 p.m. the Echo Hose Co. #1 responded to a public service call, at #3 High Plains Road. An engine responded.

 

On Jan. 24 at 3:44 p.m. the Pine Rock Co. #4 and the Echo Hose Co. #1 responded to a fire alarm sounding from the Dianon Pathology at #1 Forest Parkway. There was no fire. The alarm was accidentally transmitted during a sprinkler test. An engine, a utility truck and a tower truck responded.

 

On Jan. 24 at 6:22 p.m. the Huntington Co. #3, Echo Hose Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Co. #4 responded to the Shoreline Animal Hospital at #895 Bridgeport Avenue for smoke in the building. There was no fire. firefighters found a ballast in an overhead light fixture was overheated. Two engines a rescue truck and the tower truck responded.

 

On Jan. 25 at 6:02 a.m. the Echo Hose Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Co. #4 responded to a report by a passerby of a fire alarm sounding at the Helen DeVaux Housing Complex at #91 Howe Avenue. No alarm was found on the property. One unit responded.

 

On Jan. 25 at 9:45 a.m. the Echo Hose Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Co. #4 responded to a fire alarm sounding at #175 South Constitution Boulevard. There was no fire. An engine responded.

 

On Jan. 25 at 5:59 p.m. the Huntington Co. #3 and the Echo Hose Co. #1 responded to a motor vehicle accident on route 8 northbound near exit 12. Two engines and two rescue trucks responded.

 

On Jan. 25 at 6:52 p.m. the Huntington Co. #3 and the Echo Hose Co. #1 responded to a report of an odor of natural gas in the area of 1001 Bridgeport Avenue. Two engines and a rescue truck responded.

 

On Jan. 25 at 8:17 p.m. the Echo Hose Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Co. #4 responded to a motor vehicle accident on Bridgeport Avenue near John Street. An engine and a rescue truck responded.

 

On Jan. 26 at 3:11 a.m. the Echo Hose Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Co. #4 responded to a fire alarm sounding at #20 South Constitution Boulevard. There was no fire. An engine responded.

 

On Jan. 26 at 9:06 a.m. the Huntington Co. #3, Echo Hose Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Co. #4 responded to the Hilton Garden Inn at #25 Old Stratford Road for a fire alarm sounding. There was no fire. Paint dust from construction caused the alarm. An engine and a tower truck responded.

 

On Jan. 26 at 10:17 a.m. the Huntington Co. #3, Echo Hose Co. #1 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded to #65 Trap Falls Road for a fire alarm sounding. There was no fire. a fire alarm box was struck by a forklift causing the alarm. An engine responded.

 

On Jan. 27 at 11:48 a.m. the Huntington Co. #3 responded to #7 Princess Terrace for a fire in an oven. The fire was out upon arrival of fire units. An engine responded.

 

On Jan. 27 at 12:45 p.m. the Pine Rock Co. #4 responded to a motor vehicle accident on Ojibwa Trail. An engine and a rescue truck responded.

 

On v 28 at 10:22 a.m. the Echo Hose Co. #1 and the Huntington Co. #3 responded to a motor vehicle accident on Nells Rock Road. Two engines responded.

 

On Jan. 28 at 11:54 a.m. the Pine Rock Co. #4 and the Echo Hose Co. #1 responded to #450 Long Hill Avenue for a fire alarm sounding. There was no fire. Smoke from cooking caused the alarm. An engine and a ladder truck responded.

 

On Jan. 28 at 1:20 p.m. the Pine Rock Co. #4 and the Echo Hose Co. #1 responded to #6 Netop Trail for an odor of gas. Nothing was found by firefighters. Two engines responded.

 

On Jan. 28 at 1:41 p.m. the Huntington Co. #3, Echo Hose Co. #1 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded to #917 Bridgeport Avenue for a fire alarm sounding. There was no fire. Three engines responded.

On Jan. 29 at 3:01 a.m. the Echo Hose Co. #1 responded to #101 Center Street to assist EMS with a patient. A rescue truck responded.
