Girls basketball: Game to help fight Type 1 Diabetes

The Shelton High School girls basketball team will host its annual Blue Game on Friday, Feb. 6, when the Gaelettes take on rival Guilford High School.

The Blue Game is an event in which the Shelton High girls basketball program helps to raise awareness of Type 1 Diabetes, also known as Juvenile Diabetes.

The event will take place at the Murray Gymnasium at Shelton High, starting with the junior varsity game at 5:15 p.m. and will culminate with the varsity matchup at 7.
