Singer-songwriter Suzanne Sheridan will be at the Huntington Street Café on Saturday, March 2 from 8 to 10 p.m. This will be the sixth time she will be performing her music, which includes songs from Joni Mitchell and Leonard Cohen.
“For years I have been covering Joni’s songs in clubs and concerts,” said Sheridan. “Then I read ‘Girls Like Us’ and found out that Leonard Cohen and Joni Mitchell had this passionate two-week love affair and I thought to myself, ‘I have to bring them back together and the only way I can do that is musically.’”
Bass player and poets also to perform
Sheridan will be joined by poets Michael Juliano and Ralph Adams in addition to bass player Chris Brown for the Saturday show.
