Man arrested on 7 outstanding warrants

A Milford man was held in police custody on a $640,000 for failing to show up in court on a string of charges, including sexual assault.

Kyle Godin, 20, of 111 Schoolhouse Rd., was arrested on warrants July 17, and charged with several counts of failing to appear in court. Police said there were seven warrants for Godin’s arrest.

Godin is accused of failing to appear in court on June 25, stemming from arrests in Milford and Shelton on charges of sexual assault, credit card theft, creating a public disturbance, operating a motor vehicle under suspension, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana over half an ounce, evading responsibility, loitering in or about a school, and other violations.
