Shelton High fall athletes swept up awards when the Southern Connecticut Conference announced its all-conference teams and player/coaches of the year for boys/girls cross country, boys/girls soccer, field hockey, girls volleyball, girls swimming and football.
Robert Dillon was boys cross country runner of the year and Jake Roberts earned Tier 1 Player of the Year for football.
Tyler Pineau also earned a spot on the All-SCC first team for cross country.
Matthew Richard and John DeRosa were second team.
Named to the Tier I football team on offense were Ray Weiner (line), Paul Ferrigno (wide receiver) and Nick Andrade (place kicker).
Tier I defensive selections were Jake Breton (line), Tyler Janik (linebacker) and Jack Carr (secondary).
In girls cross country, Anna Weissenberg was first-team All-SCC.
Alexandra Kenealy was second team.
Erin Keary was first team and McKenzie Joyce and Leya Vohra second-team selections for girls soccer.
In boys soccer, Erik Lorrent and Anthony Russo were first-team All-SCC.
Isaac Garcia was second team.
Reem Abdul-Hack and and Jessica Foss were first-team All-SCC for girls volleyball.
Sara DeMarco was second team.
In girls swimming, Louise Kim was honored in the 50-yard freestyle and the 100-yard freestyle. as was the 200-yard freestyle relay team of Emma Parkes, Kim, Alyssa Bretan and Anastasia Alcaraz-Sim and the 400-yard freestyle relay team of Kim, Parkes, Kayla Bretan and Alyssa Bretan.
