Daryl Guberman, a quality management specialist in the aerospace, medical implant, materials and printing fields, will be the featured speaker for the ASQ New Haven meeting Wednesday, April 17 at 5:30 p.m. at Casa Nova Ristorante, 833 River Road, Shelton.
Guberman is president and founder of Stratford-based Guberman-PMC LLC.
At the local American Society of Quality meeting, he will discuss the essentials of quality management and processes, including an overview on ISO standardization and compliance, the lack of value-added certification and surveillance, and the growing number of customer complaints facing traditional registrars.
Guberman also will talk about the need for truly impartial accreditation bodies, and the competitive advantages they would provide by overseeing registration companies independent of influences from international, governmental or industry conglomerates.
The meeting will include a Q&A session on ISO certification. Make reservations at www.asqnewhaven.org/reservation.html. Direct any questions to Jay Krishnamoorthy, ASQ New Haven chairman, at 203-589-5350.
