Cristina Jennie Gintoli, daughter of Mary and Joseph Gintoli of Shelton, was married to Shawn Matthew David, son of Donna and Richard David of Hudson, Mass., on Dec. 29, 2012.
The Rev. Monsignor Blase M. Gintoli, cousin of the bride, performed the double-ring ceremony at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Middletown.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a Casablanca fit and flare, ivory satin gown with lace overlay, cap sleeves and a full lace train. She carried a bouquet of white and black mini- calla lilies wrapped with a piece of white, laced edge chiffon from her mother’s bridal veil.
Alexandra Gintoli, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kim David, Daniela Jones, Dr. Christine Pattison Macomber and Amy Spano. They wore black satin full length ruched gowns by Bill Levkoff. and carried white calla lilies.
Gregory O’Neil and Christopher Rouille were co-best men.
The bride graduated from Shelton High School in 2000 and received dual bachelor of arts degrees in biological psychology and Spanish from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass. She received her master’s degree and certificate of advanced study in psychology from Fairfield University. She is employed by the town of Plymouth, Mass., as a school psychologist.
The groom graduated from Hudson High School, Hudson, Mass. and received dual bachelor of arts degrees in philosophy and political science from the College of the Holy Cross, Worcester, Mass. He received his juris doctorate from the University of Connecticut School of Law and master’s of business administration and master’s of science degrees in accounting from Northeastern University, Boston. He is employed as a corporate tax attorney for Deloitte LLP, Boston.
After a reception at St. Clement’s Castle in Portland, Conn., they honeymooned in Florida. They reside in South Easton, Mass.
