Low vision support group meets April 24 in Shelton

The next meeting of the low vision support group in Shelton — Learn to See the World — is set for Wednesday, April 24, at 3 p.m.

Speaker will be Charlie Collins, owner/founder of Vision Dynamics of Cheshire. Legally blind from the age of 13, he will share his story, struggles and success. He will also demonstrate strategies and products to assist with tasks such as reading prescription bottles, cross word puzzles, playing cards, writing checks and reading menus.

The meeting is free and open to the public.  Individuals with low vision or are legally blind are encouraged to attend for fellowship and support.
