Touch-a-Truck at Shelton school Saturday open to public

Booth Hill School in Shelton will host its first Touch-a-Truck at Booth Hill School on Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The event is open to the public and will benefit the Booth Hill School PTO.

Featured will be 26 vehicles, up close and personal, for motor vehicle fans of all ages. “Kids will have a chance to climb inside and explore some of the working trucks and vehicles they see in everyday life,” according to organizers.

 

Fire engine, antique tractors, dump truck, etc.

The trucks will include:

— Fire engine

— Ambulance

— Construction equipment

— Antique farm tractors

— Tractor trailer (18 wheeler)

— Pet spa van

— Bucket truck

— Garbage truck

— Dump truck

— Propane truck

— School bus

 

Other attractions will include “The Fun Bus,” The Roaming Railroad (train rides for kids), a bounce house, face painting and tattoos.

 

Food and beverages will be available

Food and beverages will be sold from Court House Dogs and Team Ice Cream Co. There also will be coffee available and a bake sale.

Admission is $10 per family. All proceeds will go toward the Booth Hill School PTO Fund that promotes educational programs for the school.
