Shelton bicycle ride to benefit nonprofit agency

The second annual Pedal for PCRC fund-raising bicycle ride will take place Sunday, May 19, beginning and ending in Shelton.

Cyclists can participate in 15-, 30- or 62-mile rides to raise funds for the Lower Naugatuck Valley Parent Child Resource Center. They will leave from the PerkinElmer office on Bridgeport Avenue.

The selected routes were chosen to be scenic and interesting, matching all levels of cycling experience. There will be stocked rest stops along the way, as well as support vehicles and sweepers on the route.

An after-party will feature music, food and refreshments.
