Obituary: Robert R. Farrell, 67, of Shelton

Shelton-OBT-FarrellRobert R. Farrell, 67, of Shelton, husband of Carol Slosar Farrell, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2013 in his home. Bob was the retired lead-man from Sikorsky Aircraft, also the owner of Irish Rover Construction Services of Shelton and he worked for the John J. Brennan Construction Company.

Born in Derby to the late Howard and Alice (Churma) Farrell he has been a life long Shelton resident.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years Carol; a mother-in-law Julia Sulick Slosar of Shelton; 3 Brothers; 2 nephews; 2 aunts; several cousins; and his pets, Sammie, Sparky and Heidi.

His father-in-law John Slosar predeceased him. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 10 a.m. in St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, 505 Shelton Road, Huntington. Internment will take place in St. John’s Cemetery, Stratford. Calling hours have been omitted. The Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
