Toddler Movement — Wednesdays, July 24 and 31, 11 a.m. Songs, dance, action poems and musical instruments for preschoolers 2-4 and caregivers.

 

As I See It — Wednesday, July 24, 1 p.m. Friends of the Shelton Libraries offer a film viewing and discussion over desserts; new members and opinions welcome.

 

Science Fiction Stories — Wednesday, July 24, 2 p.m. Out of this world stories for kids 5-10 years old.

 

Storytime for 3s & 4s — Thursdays, July 25 and Aug. 1, 11 a.m. Three and four year olds hear stories.

 

Spanish with Sandra — Friday, July 26, 10:30 a.m. Kids 3-5 years experience a 30 minute “immersion” through songs, games, stories and activities with Sandra Alvarado; register.

 

Baby Rhyme Time — Tuesdays, July 30 and Aug. 6, 11 a.m. Infants and non-walkers discover nursery rhymes and action songs with their caregivers; followed by open play time.

 

Creative Juices — Wednesday July 31, 2 p.m. Kids in grades 2-6 work in teams to puzzle out a solution to escape make-believe villain, mad Dr. Bookworm, using their ingenuity and recyclable items (2-3 each) brought from home as tools.
