Family Day at the Vibes: Tickets $55, discounts for CT residents

Sunday, July 28, is Family Day at Gathering of the Vibes. Tickets may be purchased at the gate for $55. Connecticut residents, active members of the military and veterans (from any state) receive a $10 discount. Kids 15 and under are free when accompanied by parent/guardian.

The price has been incorrectly reported in some places.

Music Sunday includes Andy the Music Man, Max Creek, The McLovins, Band Together, Blues Traveler, John Butler Trio, Fishbone and The Black Crowes.

Connecticut Family Day features painting on a community mural, children’s entertainers, face painting, hair wraps, arts & crafts, dancing with life-sized puppets, trips to the BioBus, ride the 85 ft high Ferris wheel, or jam on professional equipment with musicians from the Green Vibes and Main stages at the School of Rock Stage. Kids also have an opportunity to learn about production, sound and lighting from Vibes production pros. From 9:00am to sundown kids 15 and under will be admitted free when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

The Gathering of the Vibes is being held at Seaside Park, Corner of Barnum Boulevard and Barnum Dyke, Bridgeport.
