According to a post made on the Herald’s Facebook page, this dog was found on Shelton Avenue near the dog park and power lines last week. Officials were attempting to get him, and the dog was struck by a passing motorist.
He was taken to Shoreline Veterinary Clinic where he was treated and is doing fine. The Herald called the clinic this afternoon, and was told the dog was released to the Shelton Animal Shelter.
“Other than being scared he has a great temperament,” the post on the Facebook page from Danielle Gayda said. “He had no tags and no microchip. We’d like to find the owner.”
The number for the Shelton Animal Control is 203-924-2501.
