Kids get to meet a wolf and learn about wolves at Shelton event

Youngsters and adults were able to hear a presentation on wolves and meet Atka during the event, sponsored by the parochial school on Coram Avenue and Friends of the Shelton Libraries.

The Westchester County, N.Y.-based nonprofit Wolf Conservation Center is an environmental education organization that works to promote wolf conservation by teaching about wolves, their relationship to the environment, and the role of humans in protecting their future.

The event was free and open to children of all ages, with donations accepted for the Wolf Conservation Center.
