Hundreds of people strolled Howe Avenue in Shelton on Sunday to eat, shop, be entertained, become informed, and mingle with family and friends.
While the sometimes-damp weather may have held down the crowd at times, a steady stream of visitors made their way downtown for Shelton Day.
The annual street festival, organized by the Derby/Shelton Rotary Club, featured about 150 booths with food, crafts, interactive activities, businesses, and community information.
Local bands as well as the Shelton High School marching band provided live entertainment.
