Shelton Boys & Girls Club plans open house for parents

The Boys & Girls Club of the Lower Naugatuck Valley in Shelton will host a program expo and kindergarten open house Tuesday, Oct. 15 from 6-7 p.m. The public, especially parents who might be interested in what the club has to offer, are invited.

Programs will be showcased, facility tours will be offered, and parents can meet and ask questions of staff. Learn about the club’s new kindergarten program.

Other activities to be highlighted include art, music, Elizabeth Shelton School and Perry Hill School programs, Keystone Club, Project Learn (homework help), SMART Moves, sports leagues, TGIF, Torch Club, Triple Play, Newspaper Club, Immersion Science, Money Smart and Zumba.

The Boys & Girls Club of the Lower Naugatuck Valley’s Shelton facility, officially known as the Raymond P. Lavietes Clubhouse, is at One Positive Place off Howe Avenue in Shelton.
