Boy Scout Troop 28 has recognized Center Stage Theatre’s Youth CONNection Players with the 23rd piece in the official Shelton Christmas ornament collection.

The cast and crew of the upcoming musical “Sing” were present as Troop 28 Senior Patrol Leader Alex Norton read a proclamation from the mayor on this year’s ornament.

Troop 28 Assistant Senior Patrol Leader Billings White presented the ornament to Youth CONNection and Center Stage founders Francesca and Gary Scarpa.

Youth CONNection is celebrating its 30th year of providing opportunities for young people to excel in the theater arts. The Scarpas also operate Center Stage, a nonprofit theater in downtown Shelton.
