Two performances of “Tribute to John Denver” will be performed Saturday, Oct. 26 at the Downtown Cabaret Theatre in Bridgeport. Show times are 5:30 and 8:30 p.m.
The musical tribute features musician and John Denver look-alike Ted Vigil, with special guest Steve Weisberg, who was John Denver’s lead guitar player during his big touring years.
Vigil has been performing his “Tribute to John Denver” since 2006, playing throughout the United States. He has appeared at casinos, show rooms, night clubs, fraternal clubs, private parties, fairs and festivals. Last year, he was featured at the John Denver Festival.
In 2006, Vigil won the national title for “Talent Quest” and went on to win a celebrity look-alike contest.

The box office opens 90 minutes prior to scheduled performance times, and seating begins 30 minutes before the show. The Downtown Cabaret is a wheelchair accessible facility.
All Downtown Cabaret shows are bring-your-own-food-and-beverage events. The theater is at 263 Golden Hill St. in downtown Bridgeport, off the Route 8/25 expressway.
