Tuesday is final day to register for Nov. 5 election

The deadline to register in person for the upcoming municipal election is 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 29. Election Day will be one week later, on Tuesday, Nov. 5.

On Oct. 29, the Shelton Registrar of Voters office will have special hours from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. The Registrar of Voters office is at 54 Grove St., second floor, (The Registrar office is not in Shelton City Hall, but is located in the former Lafayette School, just south of downtown off Howe Avenue.)

This year, Shelton voters will cast ballots for mayor, city treasurer, Board of Aldermen, Board of Education, Planning and Zoning Commission, Board of Apportionment and Taxation, and Library Board.
