Shelton tree comes down for trip to Rockefeller Center

With the help of a huge crane, a tree on Kazo Drive in Shelton was cut down Thursday morning and placed on a long flatbed truck for its trip to New York City. (Photos by Brad Durrell)

The 73-feet-high Norway spruce was on the property of the Vargoshe family, and will be decorated and on display at Rockefeller Center for the holiday season.
