Shelton businessman named to statewide organization’s board

Shelton businessman Kevin Burke has been elected to the board of directors of the Connecticut Business & Industry Association, the state’s largest business organization.

Burke is senior vice president for Greater New York and Connecticut regional vice president with Wells Fargo in Shelton.

He will begin serving his four-year term at the board’s Dec. 11 meeting.

John R. Rathgeber, CBIA president and CEO, said Burke “understands the economic challenges facing our state and will work to promote sound economic and fiscal policies to make Connecticut more competitive for private sector investments and job creation.”

Based in Hartford, CBIA has 10,000 member companies.
