Adoption applications for the eight 3-month-old pit-mix puppies, rescued by Trumbull Animal Control, are no longer being accepted at this time . The puppies, rescued with their mother, were abandoned and left to starve. They are now in good health and the Times and Trumbull Animal Group posted adoption information for the pups, which received a lot of attention.
Trumbull Animal Group posted the following message on Facebook:
“We would like to thank everyone that has shared and re-posted the puppies!! The amount of response has been overwhelming! Thanks to you, there are over 100 applications on them!! With such an outpouring, the animal control officer now needs to go through them ALL and find them loving homes. In order for her to do this, she is no longer taking applications on them. We will keep you posted in case some of them come up for adoption again.”
Anyone interested in making a tax-deductible donation to Trumbull Animal Group (TAG), checks should be made out to Trumbull Animal Group (TAG) and mailed to Gail Marshall, President of TAG, 287 Booth Hill Road, Trumbull, CT 06611. Donations are tax-deductible.
The mother of the puppies is up for adoption.
