Up to 4 inches of snow in Tuesday forecast

The first significant snowfall of the season is expected in Shelton and the surrounding area on Tuesday, Dec. 10. Forecasts range from one to four inches of wet snow, starting around 9 a.m. and ending between 3 and 5 p.m.

The chance of precipitation is 70%, according to the National Weather Service. Tuesday’s high is expected to be 33 with a low of 18.

 

More flurries possible later in week

More snow flurries are expected on Wednesday and Thursday, with highs of 31 and 29, respectively.

As for the rest of today (Monday), light drizzle could continue late this afternoon, with temperatures expected to be in the high 30s and low 40s.
