Shelton and the region is expected to pick up another 2 to 4 inches on Tuesday.

The snow should start in the morning during rush hour and continue into the mid-afternoon tomorrow. It’s a fast-moving clipper system that should leave light, fluffy snow.

The Department of Motor Vehicles is canceling all morning road tests for Tuesday because of the expected snow.

Some minor additional snow could come late Tuesday into Wednesday.

Temperatures should be in the 20s on Tuesday and in the 30s on Wednesday, with lows in the teens late at night on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Most of the snow from Saturday’s snowstorm now has been cleared. That system dropped 3 to 8 inches around the state. In Shelton, the storm ended with a thin layer of ice that covered trees and roads but caused few serious problems.
