Students show certificates after the first

Students at Shelton High School were recognized for improvements they made.

The goal of the  breakfast is acknowledge students who have demonstrated increased motivation, built self-esteem and to encourage students from all academic tracks to continue to improve academically.

Students are acknowledged at the end of the first, second and third marking periods. Staff members nominate students who have demonstrated significant improvement in academics due to improved attendance, behavior, and/or a result of improving time management/study skills.

The following students were honored: Justin Cedeno, Fred Dapp, Jake LaMacchia, Matthew Lopes, Zachary Mattei, Abigail Padin, Nicholas Piciw, Sapphire Smith, Richard Turiano, Kyra Wood, Sean Albright, Alexis Calhoun, Megan Duguid, Anthony Hodson, Brittney Matto, Edwin Rosada, Marie Sakr, Paul Salley, Richard Tran, Qi Zhang, Rachel Ambrogio, Maggie Fitzgerald, Michelle Gutierrez, David Kloter, Christopher Samedi and Jevaun Whyte.
