SHELTON WEATHER UPDATE: Snow to wind down, temps drop tonight

Snow is expected to continue to fall until 11 a.m. in Shelton, followed by areas of blowing snow and a slight chance of snow until 1 p.m. Another 1 to 3 inches is possible during the day.

Current temperature at 8:40 a.m. in Shelton is 9 degrees. Cloudy skies should gradually clear, with a daytime high near 15 degrees. Wind chill values will be as low as -13 during the day, with blustery winds up to 20 mph.

Tonight it should be mostly clear, with a low around -5. Tonight’s wind chill values will be as low as -12, with winds from 5 to 10 mph.

 

Saturday:

Sunny, with a high near 23. Wind chill values as low as -7. Winds from 5 to 10 mph in the morning.

 

Sunday:

A slight chance of snow, freezing rain, and sleet before 1 p.m., then a chance of rain and snow from 1-2 p.m., then a chance of rain after 2 p.m. Patchy fog expected. Rain is likely at night.
