Obituary: Thomas “Tom” Puopolo, 71, of Jupiter, Fla., formerly of Shelton, Conn

Thomas “Tom” Puopolo, 71, of Jupiter, Fla., formerly of Shelton, Conn., passed away on January 7, 2014.

Tom was a 30-year resident of Florida moving from Shelton, Connecticut. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Crisis. He retired from the Shelton Police Department. He also retired from Sikorsky Aircraft in Florida.

Tom will be greatly missed by his wife of 50 years, Joanne; his daughter, Robin Puopolo and his granddaughter, Miranda Crouse; three sisters, Helen, Maryann, and Beverly; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends and family on Saturday, January 18th from noon-2:00 p.m. with memorial services to follow at 2:00 pm, Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL. The family requests that you dress casual for the services.
