Valley United Way will kick off its 2014 Financial Education Series with a program Tuesday, Feb. 4 on Financial Planning for College at Ion Bank, 75 Tremont St., Ansonia.
The 5:30 p.m. will be presented by the bank’s John DeLeo. It is free and open to the public.
Next to the purchase of a home or planning for retirement, there is probably no financial issue more important for a family to consider than college.
College costs continue to rise
The cost of higher education is more expensive than ever and rising much faster than inflation, and this program will provide information on how to plan for tuition and related expenses.
Reservations are suggested and can be made online at www.valleyunitedway.org or by calling Valley United Way at 203-926-9478.
