A New York Times and Wall Street Journal best-selling author will be the speaker at the National Speaker’s Association (NSA) Connecticut chapter’s meeting Tuesday, Jan. 28 from 6-9 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn in Shelton.
The speaker, Shep Hyken, is a customer experience expert. He works with companies and organizations who want to build loyal relationships with their customers and employees.
Has published many books
Hyken is the author of “Moments of Magic,” “The Loyal Customer,” “The Cult of the Customer” and “The Amazement Revolution.” He is also the creator of The Customer Focus program, which helps clients develop a customer service culture and loyalty mindset.
He has been inducted into the National Speakers Association Hall of Fame for lifetime achievement in the speaking profession.
Will share successful strategies
During his presentation, Hyken will share the strategies he has used over the past 30 years to create and sustain a successful speaking business. He will share what has worked and what hasn’t worked.

Meet regularly in Shelton
The NSA Connecticut chapter holds seven to eight such meetings per year at the Shelton Hilton Garden Inn. Attendance is free to NSA members and associates. Guests are welcome for $35 per person.
