People who want to learn more about signing up for healthcare insurance coverage under the new federal law can attend a free informational session Saturday, Feb. 1 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at Griffin Hospital, 130 Division St., Derby.
Access Health CT, the state’s official health insurance marketplace, will host the meeting that will focus on the impact of healthcare reform, available subsidies, and the enrollment assistance available through Access Health CT.
Attendees can meet with an insurance broker or certified assister to help them enroll in the plan of their choice. A checklist of information people need to provide to enroll is available online at http://learn.accesshealthct.com.
