The identical twin sisters known as “The Twice Baked Twins” will sign books and host a tasting with samples of healthy recipes on Saturday, Feb. 8 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at Cingari ShopRite, 1990 West Main St., Stamford. Part of the proceeds go to benefit The Pink Fund.
Judy Vig and Joy Paoletti are busy moms, lifestyle gurus, and chefs who got their start winning a Food Network contest. They are currently in 200 syndicated newspapers, regional and national television, and are regular food and lifestyle contributors.
The Twice Baked Twins’ recipes also can be found in Food Magazine, Oprah.com, Ladies Home Journal, and on many food-related mom and celebrity blogs.
‘The Judy and The Joy’
Their book, “The Judy and The Joy of Pasta and Olive Oil with a Twist,” is the first of a series of kitchen table books that are planned for 2014. It offers their signature approach to recipes, in which Joy makes a traditional version of a recipe and Judy the shortcut, cheaters version.
The Twice Baked Twins tour kicked off Oct. 26, in conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness month to help The Pink Fund. Breast Cancer Awareness month is a time near and dear to the twins as Judy is a recent survivor.
With book sales, 10% of all proceeds will benefit The Pink Fund.
