SHELTON STORM INFO: Forecast summary for the next 48 hours

Here is the National Weather Service forecast for the upcoming storm in Shelton, as of late Wednesday afternoon:

 

TONIGHT: Snow starts at about 4 a.m., with a low of 21 degrees. An inch could accumulate before daybreak.

THURSDAY: Snow continues until 11 a.m.; then combination of snow and sleet from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.; followed by rain, snow and sleet after 1 p.m. High of 33 degrees. Accumulations of 5 to 9 inches.

THURSDAY NIGHT: Periods of snow until 3 a.m., with a low of 26 degrees. Accumulations of another 2 to 4 inches. Strong winds.

FRIDAY: Mostly sunny, with a high of 38 degrees. Strong winds continue.
