SHELTON WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON WEATHER: Rain has started

A cold rain has started to fall in Shelton, as of slightly before noon on Wednesday, Feb. 19. The temperature is 36 degrees.

More rain is expected this afternoon, with temperatures rising into the high 30s, according to the National Weather Service (NWS). Up to a quarter inch of rain could come down today.

It should clear up tonight but stay somewhat warm, with a low of 27 degrees.

For the rest of the week, it will get warmer but more rain is on the way.

 

Weather for upcoming days

The NWS forecast for the next few days:

Thursday:  Chance of showers in the afternoon, with a daytime high of 44. Rain and drizzle expected overnight, with a low of 36.

Friday:  Showers and thunderstorms could bring a half inch of rain. Daytime high of 51 and nighttime low of 31.

Weekend:  It should be mostly sunny both days, with highs in the mid to low 40s.
