The White Hills Voluntary Fire Company No. 5 will have its annual ziti dinner Saturday, March 1 from 5-8 p.m. at the firehouse, 2 School St., Shelton.
Served to guests will be ziti, meatballs, salad, Italian bread, soft drinks and dessert. The cost is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and children, and free for children kids under 5 years old.
All proceeds will be used for the purchase of firefighting equipment for the White Hills Company, one of Shelton’s four voluntary fire departments.
Money from past White Hills fund-raisers has been used to purchase a utility truck, an ATV used for brush fires and deep woods rescues, thermal imaging camera used for search and rescue operations, and other items.
