Former N.Y. Met drops by area to boost local team and charity

Shelton-BudHarrBluefish2The Bridgeport Bluefish sponsored the event to raise money for the CT Challenge, a nonprofit group that works with cancer survivors. About 200 people were at the gathering.

Savisky is a well-known fixture at Harbor Yard Ballpark, where from the stands during Bluefish home games,he holds up various signs — exactly which sign depends on the situation on the ballfield.

Harrelson is a part-owner of the Long Island Ducks, who compete with the Bluefish in the Atlantic League.
