Christian Schneider of Shelton was honored at the CSCA All-State Banquet for stellar play this fall with the Christian Heritage School boys soccer team.

Nathaniel Obrecht of Trumbull and Schneider were honored at the Connecticut Soccer Coaches Association All-State Banquet on Jan. 26.

Obrecht, a defender, and Schneider, a midfielder, are both juniors at CHS and have seen playing time on the varsity squad since eighth grade.

Both players were honored earlier this year with selections to the Housatonic Valley Athletic League (HVAL) and the Western New England Regional Prep All-Star teams.

They helped CHS to the HVAL Conference Championship Finals for the third straight season and to winning the state championship in the Prep SS Division of the Connecticut Prep State Soccer Tournament.

They also led Christian Heritage to its second straight New England Prep School Tournament berth this past fall.
