Four new members to help guide Shelton building projects

The Board of Aldermen has approved four new members for the Public Improvement Building Committee (PIBC), which now is overseeing three school projects related to security as well as other municipal projects.

A few of the new members have been involved in past building projects in the city, and one is a parent who has raised concerns about the pace of the school security work. Appointed to the PIBC were:

— William Banfe

— Beth Gabriel

— Gene Kierce

— James Orazietti
