Kristjan Ndoj was proof there was good in the world, said family and friends, and his life should be celebrated for just that.
During funeral services honoring the 15-year-old Shelton resident on Thursday morning, friends, family and clergy remembered the high school sophomore who died on March 20.
Kristjan was a young man who stood out in so many ways, said Msgr. Christopher Walsh, pastor of St. Joseph’s Church, where the funeral was held. He was athletic, smart, good-looking and a bit of a flirt.
“Above all, [he was] a teenager that stood out for being so kind,” Walsh said.
Hundreds poured in to the Fairmont Place church to say goodbye to a friend. “We have such a broken heart,” Walsh told mourners.
Kristjan was a student at Shelton High School.
