Shelton meeting: Learn what to do about the deer in your yard

The Shelton Deer Committee will offer a presentation by a wildlife biologist on Tuesday, April 8 at 7 p.m. in City Hall, Room 104.

Speaking will be Howard Kilpatrick of the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection. Kilpatrick is one of the authors of “Managing Urban Deer in Connecticut,” a booklet filled with information about ecological degradation, tick-borne illnesses, public safety, and deer reduction options.

The meeting and presentation are open to the public.
