The next program in Valley United Way’s Financial Education Series will be “Getting Retirement Ready” on Tuesday, April 8 at 5:30 p.m. at Barnum Financial Group (MetLife), 6 Corporate Drive, Shelton.
This workshop will prepare individuals for the decisions they need to make as they approach retirement.
These decisions include sources of retirement income, employer distribution options, lump sum vs. rollover, health insurance options and relocation decisions.

The last program in the part-series will be “Retirement Income Planning” on Tuesday, May 13 at the Barnum Financial Group office in Shelton.
