The Shelton Land Conservation Trust will hold its annual meeting Wednesday, April 9 at 7 p.m. at the Plumb Memorial Library, 65 Wooster St., Shelton.
In addition to the business portion of the meeting that will include the election of officers and board members, the agenda will feature guest speaker Felicia Ortner, a Connecticut master wildlife conservationist and bear enthusiast.
Founded in 1969, the nonprofit Shelton Land Conservation Trust works to preserve and protect open space in Shelton.
The organization controls 30 parcels of land totaling more than 365 acres. The properties have been acquired by purchase, partnership, grant, and bequest.
