St. Joseph School in Shelton will host Lenten fish fry dinners on Fridays through April 11.
The weekly meals, open to the public, will take place from 4:30-7:30 p.m. in the lower level hall of St. Joseph Church, 50 Fairmont Place (just off Coram Avenue).
This is the ninth year St. Joseph has offered the fish fry dinners. A variety of food is offered and no reservations are needed.
People can dine in or take out. Proceeds will support the parochial school.

A second fish fry
First United Methodist Church of Shelton will have its 12th annual Lenten Fish Fry dinners on Fridays through April 11 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Guests will be served home-cooked baked or fried fish, choice of potato, pasta, coleslaw, dessert and beverage.
The cost is $15 for adults, $13 for seniors (60 and older), and $5 for children 12 and younger. No reservations are needed. People can dine in or take out.
