Bank robber allegedly displays gun at Wells Fargo in Shelton

The Wells Fargo Bank at 320 Coram Ave. in downtown Shelton was reportedly robbed around 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 10.

SheltonPoliceDeptPatchAccording to the Shelton police, a male — described as being white — entered the bank, wearing a black hoodie and in possession with a gray book bag. He allegedly displayed a handgun.

The male left with an undetermined amount of money. No injuries were reported.

Police and detectives are currently investigating this incident. Anyone with any information is asked to call the police department at 203-924-1544. Calls may be confidential.

This same bank was robbed at the end of December this past year during a snowstorm.
