Wesley Village donates to the Spooner House

Carlene Rhea, director of mission development at Wesley Village presents a check to Susan Agamy, executive director of the Spooner House.

A donation of $1,000 was given to the Spooner House on April 8, thanks to proceeds from the annual Wesley Village 5K Road Race and Fun Walk.

Spooner House is located at 30 Todd Road in Shelton and is operated by Area Congregations Together Inc. with the mission of providing food, shelter and support services to people in need. To learn more, visit www.actspooner.org or call  203-225-0453.

Wesley Village is a campus of senior care communities: Crosby Commons Assisted Living, Wesley Heights Assisted and Independent Living, and Bishop Wicke Health and Rehabilitation Center.
